Earlier today we were talking about the possible launch timeline of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and MediaTek Dimensity 8300. An X user named Anvin wrote that “Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, Dimensity 8300 are both expected to launch within this month”.
Now finally MediaTek has officially confirmed the launch date of Dimensity 8300. As per the announcement the Dimensity 8300 chipset will be launched on Tuesday, November 21 at 3 PM Beijing time (7 AM UTC). Its introduction will be live-streamed on Weibo.
Rumoured specs of MediaTek Dimensity 8300
As per the rumours, the Dimensity 8300 may come with 1+3+4 architecture. Its Cortex X3 primary core can be clocked at 2.8GHz, 3x Cortex A715 performance core can be clocked at 2.4GHz and 4 Cortex A510 cores can be clocked at 1.6GHz.
The chipset might also have Mali G52 MC6 GPU integrated with it humming at 850MHz frequency. Dimensity 8300 is likely to be fabbed on TSMC’s N4P4nm process.
