Biden Administration Seeks Help from Amazon Regarding the COVID-19 vaccine rollout

The Biden Administration is looking into how tech giant, Amazon and it’s vast infrastructure help with the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

According to sources, a White House spokesman confirmed that the administration is in talks with the Amazon, “We are consulting with many companies, including Amazon, about specific ways they can help execute the President’s national strategy against COVID,” “Companies with logistics and technical expertise could help Americans get vaccinated more efficiently and more equitably,”

A spokesperson from Amazon said, “committed to assisting governments with vaccination efforts as we work together to protect our workers and continue to provide essential services during the pandemic.”

However, the tech giant Amazon did not comment on the aspects of vaccine distribution or even it’s discussing with the administration.

Back in January, the CEO of Amazon’s consumer business, Dave Clark wrote an open letter to Joe Biden in which he offered Amazon’s help.

In the letter, he wrote, “We are prepared to leverage our operations, information technology, and communications capabilities and expertise to assist your administration’s vaccination efforts,”
