NASA’s Insight lander sends its last message: Here’s what it says

The NASA Insight mission was launched in the year 2018. Five years later, in 2022, the NASA Insight which is a robotic lander on Mars sent out its seemingly last message. The last message read as their power was really low. The image attached was the last image captured on Mars. It also mentioned that people should not worry about the robotic lander. Its time on Mars was serene and productive. If the lander would’ve been able to talk to their mission team, it would do so. However, the message added that it would be signing out soon. It thanked everyone for staying. This was posted on Twitter, a popular microblogging site. And guess what? In no time, it started trending online. This is big news for the space world. The post received 35.7 K retweets. It also received 12.8 K quote tweets and 325.5 K likes.

Users on Twitter reacted to this. Many users shared sad emojis and asked who was cutting onions to make them cry. Other users shared memes in the comment section. However, overall, users on Twitter felt sad about the last moments of NASA Insight. Earlier, it had done them a great service. Typically designed to study Mars and its interiors thoroughly, NASA Insight was extremely important to NASA and other global space missions worldwide.
