Another update from Mars: Here’s what NASA has found now

NASA’s official Twitter handle which posts all discoveries related to Mars shared a new post on Twitter. It mentioned the Mars Sample Return. It is a historic landmark in the Mars campaign. Perseverance Rover deposited its sample tube on Mars. The tube is made of titanium. It contained a rock sample from the surface of Mars. The rover will now deposit it in the depot called Three Forks. This depot is a sample depot on Mars created by humans living on Earth. That is what makes it so special. However, Perseverance Rover is expected to deliver its samples back to Earth. In case it is unable to do so, these samples would remain deposited in this sample depot on Mars in an attempt to preserve them.

The mission of NASA’s Perseverance Rover is to study the microbial life on the Red Planet, Mars. From studying the planet’s geology to the climatic conditions and changes there, Perseverance has a huge role to play in NASA’s Mars mission indeed. The rover is designed to study the rock on the planet Mars.

NASA is hopeful that it will bring the sealed samples back to the Earth. And even if it does not, it will pay way for human discovery and exploration on the planet Mars.
