Xiaomi Rolls Out HyperOS 3 (Android 16) Update in India for Redmi, POCO Phones and Tablets; Weekly Bug Report Reveals Key Fixes
Xiaomi has announced the rollout of the stable HyperOS 3 update, based on Android 16, for several Poco and Redmi smartphones in India. The company confirmed that the update is now being released to eligible devices in the region.
The rollout is not limited to smartphones, as Xiaomi has also started pushing the update to tablets. The devices included in the rollout are Redmi Note 14 Pro+, Redmi Note 13 Pro+, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi 15C, POCO C85 5G, POCO X6, POCO X7 Pro, Redmi Pad 2 (WiFi + Cellular), Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G, Redmi Pad SE, and POCO Pad M1.
Since the rollout is ongoing, it may take some time to reach all eligible users. Most users will receive the update automatically. However, if you have not received it yet, you can manually check by going to Settings > About Phone > HyperOS version and tapping on “Check for updates.”
Alongside this, Xiaomi has released its latest HyperOS Weekly Bug Report for week 235, where it regularly highlights issues reported by users, along with fixes and progress updates. Below are the issues identified and their current status:
