Xiaomi India Officially Announces the HyperOS 3 Update for its Flagship Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra Smartphones: Now Rolling Out

Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra – HyperOS 3 Update
Via its official X handle for India, the roll-out of the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 update has been announced for the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphones that were made available in the market back in March 2025. The brand also notes that with the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 custom skin onboard, a more seamless, smarter, sharper, and more fluider experience can be enjoyed by the Indian users of these smartphones.
To note, there are a few users who have complained that the update has still not yet reached their respective devices. Probably, the brand may be rolling it out in phases to ensure that there are no issues or problems, and the OTA update is expected to reach everyone soon.
Other Recent Updates
Looking into a few other recent updates, Xiaomi has already released the Xiaomi 17 series consisting of the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max models, and at the Snapdragon Summit event, the Xiaomi 17 series India launch was also confirmed. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will also be joining the series soon as its fourth smartphone model, and its 3C certification listing was spotted. A faster 100W wired fast charging feature has been revealed for the upcoming device.
Additionally, a new Xiaomi smartphone camera grip was also spotted on the IMDA and CMIIT databases too, and it is expected to be for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Moreover the TDRA listing of the Xiaomi Buds 6 and the SDPPI listings of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 and Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Lite were spotted as well.
