Vivo X300 Gets New Update in India, Improves Battery Life and Performance

The Vivo X300 series was launched in India in December last year, and just a month later, Vivo has started rolling out a new software update for X300 users. The update focuses on improving battery life along with overall performance enhancements.
The update arrives with version number PD2509F_EX_A_16.0.17.10.W30, based on OriginOS 6, and has a download size of 138MB.
According to the official changelog, the update improves system performance, stability, and overall smoothness. It also optimises power consumption in certain scenarios, helping deliver better battery life and improved thermal performance. Additionally, portrait photography has been enhanced with clearer details, and third-party app compatibility has been refined to reduce instances where some apps may not function properly.

While this is what Vivo mentions in the changelog, one Vivo X300 user on Reddit shared his experience after installing the update. He claimed that his battery life earlier averaged around 6–7 hours, which has now improved to 8–9 hours with 80–20% usage at home. However, he also noted that after the update, Origin Island and YouTube Music felt slightly less reliable.
Apart from this feedback, no other users have reported any major issues with the update at the time of writing.
