Vivo Starts Rolling Out Stable OriginOS 6 Update for Vivo T4 5G with January 2026 Security Patch and More
When Vivo announced its rollout schedule for OriginOS 6, it stated the Vivo T4 5G would receive the stable OriginOS 6 update based on Android 16 in the first half of 2026. Now, thanks to a screenshot shared by a user named Shinobi on X, it’s clear the rollout is happening in India—although the screenshot doesn’t reveal the complete changelog.
The update, version PD2456F_EX_A_16.1.11.2.W30, is around 726MB and includes the January 2026 security patch. One highlight is the ability to adjust how rounded screen corners appear, along with aligning app icons to match. You can find this in Settings > Home screen, lock screen & wallpaper > System styles.

The update also improves system stability, optimizes battery life, and fixes a navigation bar bug. Dark mode sees a small enhancement—you can now dim icons for a more comfortable viewing experience. This option is under Settings > Display, brightness & eye protection > Dark mode settings.
While this screenshot confirms the rollout, it doesn’t show the full changelog. Since updates go out in phases, if you haven’t received it yet, check manually in your system update settings.
