Vivo and iQOO open up more slots for OriginOS 6 Closed Beta for Vivo X200 Pro and iQOO 13
On September 29, Vivo and iQOO officially opened registrations for the OriginOS 6 Closed Beta programme based on Android 16 for the Vivo X200 Pro and iQOO 13 in global markets. At that time, the brands did not specify the number of available slots or the registration deadline.
Now, both Vivo and iQOO have announced that they’ve increased the number of slots for the OriginOS 6 Closed Beta, allowing more users to participate in the testing phase. However, similar to the previous announcement, neither the exact number of additional slots nor the application deadline has been disclosed yet.

OriginOS 6 is scheduled to launch globally on October 15, following its China debut on October 10. Notably, the global version — now officially renamed from FuntouchOS to OriginOS — will not include every feature found in the Chinese version.
Earlier today, tipster @Gadgetsdata shared that the global/Indian version of OriginOS 6 will introduce several enhancements, including improved readability, parallel animations, expanded customisation options, and enhanced screen adjustments. The update will also bring a redesigned Control Centre, a fresh UI design, a revamped File Manager, a new OriginOS Island, and a new system slider.
