Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Running on Android 16 Based One UI 8 Spotted on Geekbench With Higher Performance Scores

The Geekbench listing of Samsung’s Galaxy S21 FE smartphone which runs on the Android 16 based One UI 8 custom skin has now been spotted. When compared with that of One UI 7, with One UI 8, the Galaxy S21 FE from Samsung has achieved higher performance scores.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone (SM-G990B) with the Android 16 based One UI 8 onboard has acquired 1540 points and 3895 points respectively on the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench and as mentioned, this is slightly higher when compared with the performance achieved with the Android 15 based One UI 7 custom skin (Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with Android 15 based One UI 7 – single-core: 1504 points; multi-core: 3658 points). To note, the spotted device is the 2.84GHz-clocked Snapdragon 888 5G variant, with 6GB of RAM.
While the Geekbench listing reveals the performance, it also additionally confirms or reiterates that the device which debuted featuring the Android 12 based One UI 4 out of the box, as part of its 4-years of OS upgrade promise, will also be receiving the Android 16 based One UI 8 custom skin as well followed by the recent roll-out of the One UI 7 custom skin.
In related news, a few days back, Samsung Auto with the One UI 8 support (v3.1.03.18) received features like Screen Mirroring and App Voice Call Continuity. After this, the brand also brought new widget cards (for Weather, Schedule, Travel, Nearby Services, Suggestions from Call Transcripts, Today’s Brief, and Parcel to Pick) and an added Music Menu on Samsung Auto.
