Yesterday, Samsung rolled out the One UI 8 stable update, based on Android 16, for the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 5G smartphones in India. Now, Galaxy M35 5G users in the country have also started receiving the One UI 8 stable update.
According to a user on X (via) who shared a screenshot of the update, the firmware version is M356BXXU5CYI8 / M356BODM5CYI8 / M356BXXU5CYI8, and the update weighs 2361.39 MB in size. Similar to the Galaxy A55 and A35 updates, this one also includes the September 2025 security patch for the Galaxy M35 5G.
Since the rollout has just begun, it may take some time before it reaches all users. Regarding its release timeline for other regions, it’s likely to happen soon as well. Although the update will automatically appear once available, users can also check manually by navigating to Settings > About device > Software update > Update now.
