Samsung Confirms One UI 8 Beta Rollout for Galaxy S24 Series, Fold6, Flip6; Stable Release to Begin in September

We’ve been covering One UI beta builds being spotted on Samsung’s testing servers for a while now. Well, here’s some good news: Samsung has now officially confirmed the beta rollout for One UI 8.

Initially, the beta build was limited to Galaxy S25 series users. But now, it is being extended to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 as well. The beta rollout will begin next week for users in India, South Korea, the US, and the UK.

Samsung has also confirmed that the beta program will be expanded to more Galaxy models, including the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54. However, for these models, the rollout will begin in September, as confirmed in Samsung’s official press release.

Users interested in joining the beta can sign up through the Samsung Members app. You can also check the list of smartphones eligible for One UI 8 from here.

In related news, One UI 8 beta-running devices have started receiving an IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) service update in South Korea.

And yes, this time, Samsung seems to be pushing hard to roll out One UI 8 faster, likely to make up for the delays seen with the One UI 7 rollout.

The stable release will first arrive for the Galaxy S25 series in September. Other Galaxy models are expected to receive it around October. Additionally, One UI Watch 8 will also begin rolling out to supported Galaxy smartwatches later this year.
