OxygenOS 16 Open Beta now available for OnePlus 12R, OnePlus Open, OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13s, and OnePlus 13R

Early this morning, OnePlus announced that it is accepting applications for the OxygenOS 16 Open Beta for the OnePlus 12 smartphone in the India region. Now, more devices have been added to the list. In a post on the OnePlus Community page, OnePlus confirmed that users of the OnePlus 12R, OnePlus Open, OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R, and OnePlus 13s can also apply for the OxygenOS 16 Open Beta, which is currently limited to the India region. The application window is now open and will remain so until October 13th. Probably because OnePlus is all set to launch the OxygenOS 16 globally on October 16th.

As with any beta update, it is advisable not to use your primary smartphone for testing. Some third-party apps may not function properly, as they might not yet be compatible with the new beta version. Additionally, carrier-locked variants (e.g., T-Mobile or Verizon models) are not eligible for the Open Beta.

If you are selected for the Open Beta, you can submit feedback as usual. For Indian users, dial *#800# to open the feedback menu, where you can report and describe any issues. Alternatively, you can submit bugs and suggestions through the Help & Feedback section in your device’s Settings menu.
