OriginOS August 2025 Update Released in China: Rolled Out to Vivo X200 Series and X100 Series Smartphone Models

Vivo has now officially released the OriginOS August 2025 update in its home market. The roll-out is currently live and it has already reached the flagship X200 series and X100 series smartphone models.

OriginOS – August 2025 Update Released in China

With the latest August 2025 update that has now been released in China, the OriginOS custom skin of Vivo has received certain key upgrades and it has now been made to understand its users even better. With the 12306 full integration, the itinerary dynamics are made clearer, and the Atomic Island, Atomic Notification, and Xiao V Suggestion are displayed in multiple scenes and can be viewed at a single glance. The background application stack style will also be made live to users with the August 2025 update, enabling users to have a better user experience while switching between apps.

For a better visual appearance, the battery percentage is brought inside the battery icon. An accurate countdown reminder is also part of the update, as well as a charging limit to protect battery health. On the AI side, importing guide links and pictures/documents to Lanxin Xiao V from other third party applications, Form Filling Assistant to remember things, and Xiao V Visa Overseas visa application have been added. Wake Up Class Schedule and Tao Piaopiao movie tickets are other AI related features that have been introduced.

The inter-connectivity experience with OriginOS has also been improved, and users will be able to attend calls and use verification codes instantly on their connected computer devices. Users will also now be able to copy on their smartphones and then directly paste it onto their MacBook. An AirPods connectivity headphones view and management display is also there as part of the inter-connectivity related upgrades. A few features additions have also been brought on the Blue Heart Little V Intelligent Body, Atomic Island, Atomic Walkman, Input Method, Smart Car, Accessible Calls, and Battery Life.

About the roll-out schedule, it has now been made live, and will reach all eligible OriginOS 5 users by mid-September 2025. As mentioned, Vivo’s X200 series (X200, X200 Pro mini, X200 Pro, X200s, X200 Ultra) and X100 series (X100, X100 Pro, X100s, X100s Pro, X100 Ultra) flagship users have already received it. Notably, Vivo has also made a few added AI and camera features too available to its X200 series and X100 series smartphone users.
