It has been quite some time since we have started hearing about Vivo’s plan to bring its OriginOS custom skin for global and Indian users as well (apart from China) and just a few days back, the brand’s official website for Europe, India, and Indonesia began showing the OriginOS moniker in the URL page for FuntouchOS (~ loaded FuntouchOS itself). Now, newer updates have arrived concerning its arrival in the global and Indian spheres, and also about a few other related news.

OriginOS 6 – Coming for Global and Indian Users in October 2025?
As per the update shared via the X tipster @passionategeekz, it has been pointed out that the OriginOS 6 custom skin that is based on the Android 16 operating system will be coming for global and Indian users next month in October 2025, the same month in which the brand has officially scheduled its release in the Chinese market (~ to release on 10th October 2025 at the next Vivo Developer Conference). Also, the same tipster has shared images featuring a Vivo X200 FE smartphone device that is running on the OriginOS 6 custom skin. A new refreshed control center can also be spotted. However, the tipster who has shared the update himself has asked readers/viewers to take it as a ‘neutral leak’ and it is thus best to wait until more updates come to light.
Another X tipster @yabhishekhd also adds that based on a new source, the OriginOS beta testing for the Vivo X200 Pro smartphone users in India is said to start later this month – on the 29th of September 2025. As this date is less than a week away, we might probably be coming across more updates concerning the OriginOS 6 global and Indian availability soon.
