OriginOS 6 Preview Program registration now open for Vivo X200 Pro and iQOO 13 in India
Vivo has officially announced that the OriginOS 6 Preview Program registration for the Vivo X200 Pro and iQOO 13 in India is now open. While the company has not revealed the number of applications it will accept, it confirmed that enrolment will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
To apply for the OriginOS 6 Closed beta, you will need to head to the Settings menu on your device, tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner, select “Version Trial,” then choose “Closed Beta Sign Up” followed by “View Details.” After filling out and submitting the registration form, successful applicants will receive confirmation directly from Vivo or iQOO.
Before applying, you must ensure your devices are on the latest required software versions — iQOO 13 users need to be on version 15.0.13.9 or above, while Vivo X200 Pro users must be on version 15.0.14.1 or above. Vivo has also cautioned that beta versions are often unstable, so users should avoid installing them on their primary smartphones.
Moving further, Vivo has already announced that it will launch OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, in its home market, China, on 10 October. The global launch, including India, will happen on 15 October. But, as stated earlier in reports, don’t expect the OriginOS 6 for global markets to be the same as the version in China. Though some features may come from the Chinese build, not all of them will be available.
