Today on the 10th of December 2025, Vivo brought out a new OriginOS 6 update for its latest X300 series flagships. With this latest update, a few new features have now been added to the global version of the OriginOS 6 custom skin.

Global OriginOS 6 – New Features Now Added
Notably, three new changelogs have been brought thanks to the latest update, and these include the Global Silent Mode, Text-Style Lockscreens, and two new widgets. With the Global Silent Mode, users can now disable the media volume too by toggling the Silent Mode. The option for accessing it can be found in the Sound & Vibration settings.
Text decorations have been introduced with the Text-Style Lockscreens, and users can choose from multiple designs and fonts. To note, this capability was recently made available with the Chinese version of the OriginOS 6 as well.
About the two new widgets, the first one is the Game Space widget. This widget will be offering users a toggle to install games without showing any kind of recommendations. The tipster who has shared this update notes that while the Game Space widget is great, the Game Center widget which is the other one is not so good. Unlike the Game Space widget, the Game Center widget displays recommendations, and this is not something acceptable across the user interface.
In related news, Vivo’s S50 series consisting of the Vivo S50 and the Vivo S50 Pro mini models are scheduled to launch in the Chinese market next week on the 15th of December 2025. Quite recently, the brand had also teased the Vivo S50 Series Tian Xiwei Limited Edition too for its Chinese customers.
