OPPO Find X8 Starts Receiving March 2026 Update; New Features Included
Following the announcement of the stable ColourOS 16 update for March, some OPPO Find X8 users have started sharing posts confirming that they are receiving the March 2026 update.
While some users have already received the update, others are still waiting. The rollout appears to be phased, which typically takes one to two weeks to complete. However, based on the version number CPH2651_16.0.5.700(B40P02), the “B40P02” suggests this is a SOTA (Software Over The Air) update rather than a traditional OTA rollout.
For those unfamiliar, OTA (Over The Air) updates are usually pushed in batches and can take time to reach all users. In contrast, SOTA updates are often delivered more directly through system-level distribution, allowing them to roll out faster and reach devices more quickly.

With this update, users can now run multiple timers simultaneously, and each timer will display an estimated end time. The Content Portal has also been updated to support app clones for content sharing. Additionally, a new “Automatically open received file” option has been introduced, which opens files automatically once they are received.
The update has a total download size of 1.2GB. For reference, a similar update was recently released for the OnePlus 15 smartphone in India.
Stay tuned for more updates!
