Following the release of the ColorOS March 2026 update for the China region, Oppo has now begun the rollout of this update for the global market as well, with some changes.

Oppo ColorOS March 2026 Update – What’s New?
While the rollout began on March 16th, 2026, Oppo has officially announced it only today. As per the details shared, the rollout is expected to be completed by March 31st, 2026.
Looking into what’s new, a Virus Scan feature has been introduced with this update. In this, the device will be checked for suspicious apps. Furthermore, it will not only detect them but also explain why the app has been marked as malicious. Additionally, users will be able to uninstall the app from the prompt itself. Thus saving time to go into settings and manually look for the app. This same feature is also added in the ColorOS March 2026 update for China, which is also currently rolling out there.
Another addition is the Multiple Timers feature. This same feature has been seen recently in several OnePlus smartphone updates in the global region. Along with setting multiple timers simultaneously, it will also display the estimated stop time within the timer interface.
In this update, as the Content Portal feature now supports app clones, sharing between apps is going to be much easier. Like earlier, users had to first download the file to their device when transferring files or photos between two versions of the same app, such as WhatsApp.
Lastly, a new “Automatically open received files” toggle has been introduced, which will now allow users to choose whether files should open automatically upon receiving or not.
