Oppo announces the stable ColorOS 16 rollout for the Oppo F27, K13 Turbo Pro, K13 Turbo and Find N2 Flip

Oppo has officially announced the stable rollout of ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 for several smartphones. The update is currently available only for users in India, and Oppo hasn’t shared a timeline for other regions yet, though a wider rollout is expected soon.

The update arrives with different firmware versions for each device. The Oppo Find N2 Flip is receiving the build numbered CPH2437_16.0.1.310(EX01). The Oppo K13 Turbo is getting CPH2761_16.0.1.300(EX01), while the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro is being updated to CPH2731_16.0.1.301(EX01). The Oppo F27 5G is rolling out with the version CPH2637_16.0.1.300(EX01), and the update size is around 3.70GB (Via Oppo Community).

Since the rollout has just started, not all users will receive the update immediately as it’s being pushed out in phases. However, if you don’t want to wait, you can opt in to the Release Candidate build by following these steps:

  • Step 1: Settings → System & update → Software update → Tap the top of the page → Tap the icon on the top right → Beta programme → Release candidate → Apply Now
  • Step 2: Check for updates → Download Now. You should then receive the new version.

That said, it’s generally better to wait for the stable update to arrive automatically. And as always, make sure you back up your data before updating and ensure your phone has more than 50% battery before starting the process.
