OnePlus Pad 3 gets Bypass Charging and January 2026 Security Patch Update via OxygenOS 16.0.3.500 Update
The rollout for the OxygenOS 16.0.3.500 update has just been announced for the OnePlus Pad 3 in the India region. As it has only been announced now, it will take some time to reach all users, since this is a phased rollout. For users in other regions, this update is yet to be announced. Hopefully, it will be released soon, although OnePlus has not shared any deadline for the same.
Speaking further, the update is being rolled out with the firmware version “IN: OPD2415_16.0.3.500(EX01)” and includes the January 2026 Android Security Patch. Along with the security patch, the update also brings the bypass charging feature to the tablet, along with several other new features, which I have detailed below in the changelog. Additionally, users who have received the update and face any issues can report them by dialling *#800# to access the feedback tool.
