OnePlus Open, OnePlus 13R, and OnePlus 12R receiving OxygenOS 15.0.0.860 update in India
OnePlus has announced the official rollout of the OxygenOS 15.0.0.860 update for the OnePlus Open, OnePlus 13R, and OnePlus 12R. The update is currently being released in India only, with version number IN: CPH2551_15.0.0.860(EX01) for the OnePlus Open, IN: CPH2691_15.0.0.860(EX01) for the OnePlus 13R, and IN: CPH2585_15.0.0.860(EX01) for the OnePlus 12R. It will most likely roll out to other regions soon, but the timeline hasn’t been announced yet.
Since the rollout has just begun, it may take some time before it reaches all users. In most cases, the rollout is completed within a week or two, so if you haven’t received it yet, it should arrive soon.
This update brings improvements to animations when tapping on live alerts or notifications while the screen is locked. It also introduces a new map album that allows you to view all images with location data directly on a map.
Additionally, if you set photos in the Private Album as public, they will reappear in the original folder, making them easier to find. You can now change your privacy password on each secondary page of Private Safe, as well as in the Locked Album of Photos. The update also adds the ability to view your daily and weekly screen time in App Management under Phone Manager, and it improves the layout of the remote control panel buttons in IR Remote.
Lastly, the update brings the September 2025 security patch to the OnePlus Open, OnePlus 13R, and OnePlus 12R. If the update is available, your phone will alert you with a notification. Alternatively, you can manually check for it by going to Settings > Software update. If available, the update prompt will appear on the screen.
