OnePlus Nord 4 Receives 1.51GB OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 Update With January 2026 Security Patch and More

OnePlus has now begun rolling out the OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 update for OnePlus Nord 4 users in the Indian region. The update carries the version number IN: CPH2661_16.0.2.401(EX01) and has a download size of 1.51GB.

As this is a phased rollout, not all users will receive the update at once. It may take a week or two before the rollout is completed for all eligible devices.

This update not only integrates the January 2026 Android security patch but also introduces several new features and system improvements. Some of the key changes include new filters in the Photos app — such as Motion Photo, Screenshots & screen recordings, and Edited — making it easier to organise media. The full changelog is detailed below.

OnePlus Nord 4 Users who are still running OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 will first need to update to OxygenOS 16 (Android 16), which OnePlus had already released back in November 2025, before they can receive this new update.

As for other regions, the rollout is expected to begin soon, although OnePlus has not yet made any official announcement regarding the timeline.

So far, no issues have been reported with this update. However, Indian users can report bugs by dialing *#800# to access the built-in feedback tool. For users in other regions, OnePlus now recommends submitting issues through the official Feedback form. While log uploads are currently not supported there, the @Bug Hunter team may reach out via DMs if additional details are required.
