OnePlus begins rolling out the first OxygenOS 15.0.1.506 update for the OnePlus Pad Lite globally, including India despite its pending launch

OnePlus has started rolling out the first update for the OnePlus Pad Lite following its launch in the global market. What seems unusual, however, is that even though the device has not yet been launched in the Indian market, the update with version number OPD2480_15.0.1.506(EX01) is also rolling out in India alongside the EU and global markets.

The OxygenOS 15.0.1.506 update brings new features and bug fixes, and also includes the July 2025 Android security patch. Since the update is rolling out in phases, some users may receive it earlier, while others might experience a delay. Normally, a full rollout takes around two weeks to complete.

The update adds Cross‑Device File Management to App Management and resolves several issues to improve the overall experience.

It fixes a problem where the system failed to display wallpapers correctly when users switched between them, and corrects the Clock icon on the Home screen when users change the icon style to Material.

It also restores the search function in Drawer mode when it becomes unavailable. In addition, the update brings the June 2025 Android security patch to strengthen system security.
