Just like every month, OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS V120P02 SOTA update for October 2025. The new update is being released with version V120P02 (BRB1EX01) for smartphones and V120P02 (BRB3EX01) for tablets. According to details shared on the OnePlus Community page, the rollout began on October 9th, and the complete rollout is expected to finish by around October 30th, 2025.
As per the changelog, the update brings notable improvements and feature enhancements. In the Photos app, AI Perfect Shot now supports recognition of slightly turned or partially covered faces to improve accuracy in detecting similar photos. Additionally, it now integrates AIGC algorithms to make generated photos appear more realistic, though this feature is available only on select models running OxygenOS 15 and above.
For users running OxygenOS 14 and above, improvements have been made to Private Safe. When multiple files are selected and unlocked simultaneously, the unlocked files now reappear in their original locations, making it easier to retrieve them.
For devices running OxygenOS 13 and above, users can now sort the file list on the primary page of the My Files app directly from the phone’s main screen. This feature, however, is available only on select models. The update further improves system stability, providing a more seamless and reliable user experience.
