With this latest update, the brand has introduced a few new changes and improvements. The Content Portal feature now supports app clones, making it easier for users to share content across applications. Along with this, a new toggle on/off option has also been added under the “Automatically open received files”. Thus, allowing the user to decide what to do when a file is received.  Both of these features are currently limited to devices running OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.

Lastly, via this update, the system stability has also been improved. This, however, is applicable to all eligible devices running OxygenOS 13 and above.

Coming to the rollout, smartphone users can expect the version number “B50P01 (BRB1EX01)”, while tablet users will receive “B50P01 (BRB3EX01)”. Since this is an incremental rollout, it is being released in batches. Further, as the completion timeline approaches, a broader rollout can be expected soon. Several devices, including the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus 12, and OnePlus Nord 4, have already started receiving the update.

One of the features mentioned above, the Content Portal support for app clones, is also included in this update. Apart from this, the update further adds a multiple timer feature, along with an option to show the estimated stop time within the timer as well. Speaking more about this update, it also includes the March 2026 security patch.
