OnePlus announces Project O2- a chance for OnePlus community members to co-create the future of OxygenOS
The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has always been taking the feedback of community members for improving its OxygenOS and introducing new features so that the user experience can be enhanced based on their reviews and recommendations.
Well, the company is now giving a chance to its community members to co-create the future of OxygenOS with the introduction of Project O2.

With this project, the company is building a private circle of core users, people who care enough to help shape the future of the OS they use every single day. This project is not just about testing; it’s about shaping what OxygenOS becomes next.
You can share your ideas, experiences, and honest feedback around key focus areas like design, everyday performance, Always-On display, battery, ambient computing features, and more. You don’t need to write code or build features, just share your insights as real users.
As a member of Project O₂, you’ll unlock:
- Early Access to OxygenOS Builds – Experience and evaluate new versions before public release
- Private Conversations with the OxygenOS Team – Share your thoughts directly with the creators behind the OS
- A Voice in R&D – Your ideas, frustrations, and dreams will influence future decisions
- Hardware Opportunities – Select users may receive OnePlus products for deep testing
