OnePlus announces OxygenOS 15.0.0.870 update rollout for the OnePlus 11R in India

OnePlus has officially announced the rollout of the OxygenOS 15.0.0.870 update for OnePlus 11R users in the India region. The update includes the November 2025 Android security patch with version number IN: CPH2487_15.0.0.870(EX01). It also adds a new feature that allows users to test network speed and view detailed network information, including latency and upload/download rates. Additionally, virus-scanning speeds in the Phone Manager have been improved for a faster and smoother experience.
Since this is the first day of the announcement, the rollout is expected to be completed within a week or two, as the OTA will be incremental. A small percentage of users will receive the update today, with a broader rollout planned over the coming days.

Though OnePlus hasn’t announced rollout dates for other regions yet, it usually happens within a week or so. Since this is just the first day, no OnePlus 11R users have reported any issues yet.
The OnePlus 11R launched with Android 13 and was promised four major OS upgrades. This means it is confirmed to receive the OxygenOS 16 update. However, there’s currently no official information about when the rollout will begin.
OxygenOS 15 arrived on the device in December 2024, so it’s possible, though not confirmed, that the stable OxygenOS 16 update may follow a similar timeline this year. This is only an assumption, and it’s best to wait for an official announcement from OnePlus.
