OnePlus 15 gains OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 update in India and Europe with December 2025 security patch and more

This time, OnePlus is rolling out an update for OnePlus 15 users not just in India, but across the EU as well, simultaneously. The rollout has just been announced, with version CPH2745_16.0.2.401(EX01) for India and CPH2747_16.0.2.401(EX01) for the EU. The update weighs in at around 1.52GB, and a few users who have already received it have shared screenshots online.

Since this is a phased rollout, it’s expected to reach all devices over the next week or two. If you haven’t received it yet, you might need to wait a little longer. So far, early adopters haven’t reported any issues with the update.

OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 includes the December 2025 security patch, and also adds the new “Neon” filter to the Camera app, designed to mimic the CineStill 800T film look — plus a few other changes that I’ll detail later in the article.

• Improves the logic for ending summaries and subtitles by automatically ending them when there has been no sound input for a certain period.

• After resizing an app icon and adding commonly used shortcut icons, you can now drag-and-drop these shortcut icons to rearrange them.
• Adds a “Neon” filter to the Camera app that recreates the CineStill 800T film effect, enhancing atmospheric night portrait shots.
• The filter in the Photos app now supports “Motion Photo”, “Screenshots & screen recordings”, and “Edited” options, making it easier to filter images and videos.
• Adds a bypass charging feature. When gaming, live streaming, watching videos, navigating, or in other high-load situations, you can now connect to the charger for bypass charging. This feature lets you simultaneously use and charge your phone without harming the battery, while also reducing overheating.
• You can now drag to resize app clone icons and add shortcuts.
• Improves the thumbnail parsing method in the Photos app to speed up the display of thumbnails in the app.
• Fixes an issue where your car display might be disconnected from your phone when you switch the phone’s data network.

• Integrates the December 2025 Android security patch to enhance system security.
