OnePlus 13s Gets Bypass Charging, OnePlus 11R Gains New Features with January 2026 Update

OnePlus has expanded the rollout of its January 2026 Android security patch by adding the OnePlus 13s and OnePlus 11R to the update list. Along with the latest security improvements, the updates also introduce several new features and system enhancements across both devices.
The OnePlus 13s is receiving the OxygenOS 16.0.3.501 update (build: IN: CPH2723_16.0.3.501(EX01)), which brings features such as bypass charging for reduced heating during heavy usage, enhanced Photos app editing without quality loss (up to 50MP images), improved app categorisation in the app drawer, and new functionality for Private Safe file management.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 11R is getting the OxygenOS 16.0.2.400 update (version: IN: CPH2487_16.0.2.400(EX01)), introducing improvements like better widget stacking, faster Photos app performance, Smart Sidebar storage shortcuts, enhanced Circle to Search activation, and new editing capabilities inside Private Safe.
In terms of update size, the OxygenOS 16.0.2.400 update for the OnePlus 11R weighs 1.44GB. However, the download size for the OnePlus 13s update is currently unknown.
Both updates are rolling out in the Indian region. Since the OnePlus 13s is an India-exclusive smartphone, its rollout is limited to the country. Meanwhile, OnePlus 11R users in other regions can also expect the update to arrive soon. Do note that your device must already be updated to OxygenOS 16 in order to receive this build.
