OnePlus 13R Receives OxygenOS 16.0.3.500 Update in India With January 2026 Security Patch, EU and Other Regions Still Waiting

OnePlus has begun the incremental rollout of OxygenOS 16.0.3.500 for the OnePlus 13R, but the update is currently limited to the Indian region only. According to the official community announcement, the build CPH2691_16.0.3.500(EX01) is being pushed in batches for Indian users, while there is still no rollout confirmation for Europe or other regions.

Back in November, OnePlus rolled out the stable OxygenOS 16 update for the OnePlus 13R, which was received across all regions. However, after that November build, EU users have not received any further updates on their devices. In contrast, the North American region did receive a follow-up update later, around January, while India has now moved ahead with the latest January 2026 security patch.

Several OnePlus 13R users from the EU and global regions have raised concerns on the official community forum, stating that they are still stuck on the November update. Users mention unresolved issues such as poor battery performance and button-related bugs, while pointing out that Indian users have already received multiple updates during the same period. These posts are not formal complaints but highlight the lack of update availability outside India and request clarity from OnePlus.

The new update adds a bypass charging feature for high-load activities such as gaming, video streaming, and navigation, allowing users to use the phone while plugged in with reduced heat and battery wear. It also introduces new “Office” and “Finance” categories in Drawer mode, integrates the January 2026 Android security patch, and brings improvements to Private Safe, including support for browsing, searching, and sharing files.

As of now, OnePlus has not provided any timeline for when OxygenOS 16.0.3.500 will roll out to the EU/GLO/NA variant of the OnePlus 13R.
