OnePlus 10 Pro 5G Gets OxygenOS 15.0.0.401 Update [NA]; OnePlus 11R and OnePlus 9 Pro Models Respectively Received OxygenOS 15.0.0.601 and OxygenOS 14.0.0.740 Updates [IN]

The Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus, has now rolled out new OxygenOS updates for its 10 Pro 5G, 11R, and 9 Pro smartphone models in North America and India respectively. The new updates come with many improvements, optimizations, and features additions.

OnePlus 10 Pro 5G – OxygenOS 15.0.0.401 Update [NA]

In the North American region, OnePlus has officially released the Android 15 based OxygenOS 15.0.0.401 update to its 10 Pro 5G model with a firmware version of ‘NE2215_15.0.0.401(EX01)’. It is rolling out in batches, and slowly will reach everyone while some may have already received it.

About the changelogs, superior rendering and animation with cutting-edge system graphics engine, smooth and uninterrupted visuals with innovative parallel drawing architecture, rounded corner design for uniformity across the system, new Flux Themes, extensive customizations (in AOD, home, and lock screens), Live Alerts, reversible photo editing capability, enhanced camera and filters integration, new Floating Windows gestures, re-sizable Split View windows, added Split mode (for Notification Drawer and Quick Settings), optimized Quick Settings layout, OnePlus Share with iOS file transfer, exclusive OxygenOS AOD, more lock screen clock styles, new home screen clock widget, swipe up to left shortcut for Split View feature, and migrate live photos from iOS devices with clone phone.

Following the update, if any user wants to go back to the previous official version, they can locally install the roll-back package given on the respective OnePlus Community page.

OnePlus 11R – OxygenOS 15.0.0.601 Update [IN]

The OxygenOS 15.0.0.601 update for the OnePlus 11R smartphone is rolling out for Indian users who have already upgraded the device to OxygenOS 15. It has the firmware version of ‘CPH2487_15.0.0.601(EX01)’. As this is also an incremental update, a batch-wise roll out can be expected. Few users might have already received it, whereas for others a broader roll out is planned to take place soon.

Speaking of the changelogs, personalized watermarks feature has been added on Photos, and live photos can now be reverted back to the original. Moreover, the February 2025 Android security patch will be integrated with the update, enhancing system security. The update will also improve system stability and performance, and also fixes an issue which causes system crash or blank screen while changing photo frames.

OnePlus 9 Pro – OxygenOS 14.0.0.740 [IN]

The OxygenOS 14.0.0.740 update rolling out to OnePlus 9 Pro Indian users is also an incremental update with a batch-wise roll-out plan. Its firmware version is ‘LE2121_14.0.0.740(EX01)’. This update will be integrating the latest February 2025 Android security patch to the device and enhance its system security.
