Ola Electric Introduces its MoveOS 5 With 50+ New Features: Easy Park, Smartwatch App, Find My Scooter v2, Bharat Mood, Megaphone, SOS Alerts, and More
Ola Electric – one among India’s leading EV 2-wheeler makers, has now introduced its MoveOS 5 operating system in the country as the brand’s most powerful and advanced upgrade yet. The latest version of MoveOS now offers its users 50+ new features too.

MoveOS 5 – Now Introduced in India With 50+ New Features
Following the release of four versions, the 5th version of the MoveOS operating system has now been introduced in the Indian market by Ola Electric. It is claimed to be the most advanced EV upgrade that India has ever seen, and notably it brings over 50 new features for Ola users. A few of them as teased by the brand include the DIY Mode, Easy Park, Smartwatch App, Notification Center, Bharat Mood, Megaphone, Road Trip Mode, Find My Scooter v2, SOS Alerts, Live Location Sharing, Free Roam View, and Cricket and Weather widgets.
Speaking more, the DIY Mode lets users create their own riding mode by configuring the power, speed, throttle, and regenerative braking. With Easy Park, users will also be able to move the two wheeler forward and backward just by twisting the throttle (clockwise or anti-clockwise). The Cricket and Weather widget will update users with live cricket scores and real-time temperature. About the Bharat Mood, it is a new Peacock-inspired UI and motor sound. Users can also pre-select contacts and send SOS alerts when needed, along with their live location too with the SOS Alerts option.
Moreover, the Smartwatch App brings capabilities such as lock/unlock and view vehicle status, while the second generation of Find My Scooter helps users to find their EV quickly (light or light + sound options). Also, with the Megaphone functionality, users can speak via the Ola Electric App and the EV will speak it out loudly. Notification Center allows its users to display notifications on the EV screen, whereas the Road Trip Mode will allow them to group with Ola crew and plan things. The Free Roam View functionality is also a key feature of the MoveOS 5 as it helps users explore their surroundings by just viewing Ola Maps.
