Noting officially teases the launch of Nothing OS 4.0

At the time of the Nothing Phone (3) launch, Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, confirmed that the company would begin shipping Nothing OS 4 based on Android 16 by the end of autumn. Back in July, Nothing OS 4 Closed Beta registrations were made live for Nothing Phone (3), while the open beta for this firmware was said to begin this month.

Nothing today officially teased the launch of Nothing OS 4.0.

The above teaser of Nothing OS 4.0 showcases a minimalistic design with abstract symbols and texts. The company has used the tagline “Refined.Redefined” which indicates that the company could be focusing on enhancing the user interface and experience of Nothing’s operating system.

Reportedly, Nothing Phone (3) could be the first device to receive this software upgrade, and then it will gradually expand to the remaining models. Nothing OS 4.0, based on Android 16, is expected to arrive with interactive widgets, new improvements, enhanced security features, AI enhancements, changes to glyph Matrix, and more.

In the coming days, Nothing is expected to reveal the launch date and more details about the upcoming Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 16.
