Nothing Phone (3) Gets the Nothing OS 3.5 Update With New Feature Additions, Improvements, and Bug Fixes: First Official Update After Debut
Following its official debut early this month both in the Indian and global markets, Nothing’s Phone (3) flagship smartphone has now received its very first update. The new update brings new feature additions, improvements, and bug fixes to the latest device.

Nothing Phone (3) – Nothing OS 3.5 Update
Previously, the Nothing Phone (3) smartphone did get an early reviewer update, however the Nothing OS 3.5 update that has now been rolled out is the first proper official update for the device. It has a total update size of 257MB, and the changelogs are with respect to the Glyph Interface, Essential Space, Camera, and more.
For its Glyph Interface, an added Caller ID feature is being brought and Nothing’s Phone (3) users will be able to display the name and phone number of the contact by long pressing the Glyph button. Also, Essential Notifications now provides the support for selecting and customizing icons. Generative incoming calls and notification ringtones, Glyph Matrix lighting effects and generated vibrations, optimized visual effects for the glyph interface, enhanced stability for Glyph Toys, and improved Glyph Button anti-mistouch responsiveness are also a few other related changelogs.
In the Essential Space, users are now offered the support to Flip and Record. With this feature, while attending meetings, Nothing’s Phone (3) smartphone users can simply long-press on the Essential Key and take instant meeting notes. Additionally, the notes will be organized automatically in the To-Do List. About the camera enhancements, core imaging enhancements, improved HDR video processing, and upgraded high dynamic range rendering are part of the update.
Other notable improvements are the Battle Royale performance boost at 120fps, reduced WiFi latency, Private Space supporting Gallery app switching, enhanced Pocket mode, improved audio experience when toggling spatial audio while music playback, slow or intermittent charging issues fix, abnormal battery level display fix, and optimized system performance and power consumption.
Just to add, Nothing also mentions that users may experience the device heating up and also see battery drains while updating. There is nothing to worry about as it will go back to normal following the update.
