We are still in August, and Nothing is now rolling out a new update for the Nothing Phone (2a) with the September 2025 security patch. This update with version number V3.2-250815-1642 is currently in the rollout phase. Meaning, it’s a gradual rollout, and not all users will get it at the same time. The total size of the update is 158 MB. Along with the September 2025 security patch, the update also brings some key bug fixes with camera stability and more.

As per the changelog, Shared widgets now support more sticker types, and sharing is now available for the Pedometer and Screentime widgets. The Location Access prompt in the Weather widget has also been adjusted.

The Camera app gets improved stability and now includes an option in settings to choose a default gallery for photo previews.

Other fixes and improvements include better stability for Pop-up View, corrected display errors in Quick Settings tiles, and a fix for PDFs not opening in cloned apps. The VoNR icon display in the status bar has been adjusted, and battery usage has been optimised when connecting watches. An issue with the Inter font display in apps like Instagram and Subito has also been fixed. System performance and stability have been improved, and the update includes the September security patch.
