Motorola Edge 50 Pro receives Android 16 Beta 2 update
Back in June, Google released the Android 16 stable version, and the smartphone brand Motorola started accepting invitations for Android 16 beta in June itself. At the beginning of this month, Motorola Edge 50 Pro received the Android 16 beta 1 update with the July 2025 security patch, and now, as the month is about to end, the device is reported to receive the second beta update as well.
A user named @Rajarajan190992 on the X platform revealed that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone has received Android 16 beta second update.

The update arrives with version W1UM36H.19-13-1, and the size of this update is 652MB. It includes updates of Android security patches until 1 August 2025 and changes that fix bugs and improve the stability of your device. Other than this, no other major change or new feature is included in the update.
With the beta updates rolling out, Motorola is expected to soon release the Android 16 stable version, though the official release timeline is yet to be known.

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch pOLED curved display that offers 1.5k screen resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak local brightness, and HDR10+ support. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The device packs a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS support. On the front, it features a 50MP selfie camera with quad-pixel technology and autofocus. It is backed by a 4500 mAh battery that supports 125W Turbopower charging and 50W wireless charging. The 8GB RAM variant arrives with a 68W charger, and the 12GB variant arrives with a 125W charger.
