Microsoft releases ISOs for Windows 11, version 25H2 for Windows Insiders

Back in August, Microsoft officially released Windows 11, version 25H2, to the Release Preview Channel, and in the blog post, the company mentioned that it would release ISOs next week. But the release of ISOs was delayed due to reasons unknown.

It is now officially announced that the ISOs for Windows 11, version 25H2, are available for download for the Windows Insiders.

The ISO can be downloaded from the Windows Insider Preview Downloads website, where you will first have to sign in to your account in order to get verified that you are already an Insider. The ISO media is roughly 7GB in size, depending on which language you select.

Windows 11, version 24H2 and version 25H2 use a shared servicing branch, which means that they share the same new features and enhancements. Windows 11, version 25H2, also includes some feature removals, such as PowerShell 2.0 and Windows Management Instrumentation command-line (WMIC). And for commercial customers, this version includes the ability for IT admins to remove select pre-installed Microsoft Store apps via Group Policy/MDM CSP on Enterprise/EDU devices.

With the release of ISOs for this version, it is expected that very soon, Windows 11, version 25H2, could be made generally available for all users.
