Google Starts Rolling Out its December 2025 Software Update to Eligible Android 16 Running Pixel Devices

Google’s Pixel devices running on the latest Android 16 operating system have now started receiving the December 2025 software update. The update will be bringing improvements mainly for the camera, network, WiFi, and Bluetooth related aspects of the eligible devices.

December 2025 Software Update Now Rolling Out

As mentioned, the monthly software update for the month of December 2025 is now rolling out, and this update will be made available to eligible Pixel devices that run on the Android 16 OS. The roll-out process will be taking place in a phase-wise manner over the next week, and it will reach users based on the device and its carrier. Once the update reaches, users will be notified of it on their respective devices.

Speaking of the changelogs, several bug fixes and improvements are part of this update. Fixes for occasional audio crashes, battery icon display issue, 80% charge limit setting issue, Bluetooth connection prevention with certain devices, screen flash or black issue, screen hang or freeze issue, screen brightness dimming issue, screen unlocking issue, inner display of folding devices flickering or going Black when launching a game, framework issues, memory allocation issues with sensor features, instability issue for emergency calling, WiFi stability issues, and more are part of it. General improvements for system stability and performance, as well as for camera stability in certain conditions are also there.
