Bypass Charging Arrives for OnePlus 12 Users in India with OxygenOS 16.0.3.500 Update

OnePlus recently rolled out new updates for the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s in India, introducing the Bypass Charging feature among other improvements. Now, the company has begun pushing the OxygenOS 16.0.3.500 update to OnePlus 12 users in the Indian market, which also brings the Bypass Charging feature to the device.

Currently, the update is limited to the Indian region, and OnePlus has not yet confirmed when it will be released in other markets. The update carries the version number IN: CPH2573_16.0.3.500(EX01) and is being rolled out in phases, meaning it may take a week or two to reach all eligible users.

In addition to Bypass Charging, the update includes the January 2026 Android security patch. It also enhances app categorisation in Drawer mode by adding new “Office” and “Finance” categories. Furthermore, users can now browse files in Private Safe by sliding the side panel, search for files within folders in Private Safe, and share files stored in Private Safe more easily.
