Apple Officially Rolls-Out its iOS 26.0.1 and macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 Updates, Following the Recent Complaints on Lag Issues

Over the past few days, several iPhone and Mac users have been complaining of lags following the iOS 26 and macOS 26 updates. Now, Apple has officially released new updates: iOS 26.0.1 and macOS Tahoe 26.0.1, however their changelogs does not mention any fixes for the issues its users have been complaining about.

iOS 26.0.1 and macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 Updates

Speaking about the iOS 26.0.1 update, it has a total size of 549.3 MB and as its description, Apple has mentioned that the update will be providing bug fixes as well as security updates for iPhone devices. Two of the changelogs noted are the fix for WiFi and Bluetooth getting disconnected on the newly-released iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air models. Also, for users who have been having issues connecting with mobile network following the iOS 26 update will be able to fix it after installing the iOS 26.0.1 update.

Regarding the macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 update, its size is pointed out to be 10.01 GB. Bug fixes and security updates are part of this update too, and its changelogs mention that it will be resolving the issue that prevented Mac Studio – M3 Ultra 2025 model users from upgrading to macOS Tahoe.

As mentioned above, both these updates does not mention anything about the lag issues that users have been facing, but it seems that these two updates could be aimed at fixing those issues even though it has not been mentioned on the changelogs.
