The iQOO 15R made its debut in India last month, and users are already starting to receive their first update. This update includes the March 2026 security patch, but it does more than just fix security issues. According to the notes, it also makes the sound better, makes Bluetooth connections more stable, and helps the whole phone run more smoothly.
One user shared a screenshot on X showing that the update is about 618MB in size. The specific version number to look for is PD2536IF_EX_A_16.0.10.1.W30. If you don’t see the update on your phone yet, don’t worry. These updates are sent out in waves, so it might take a few days to reach everyone. So far, the people who have installed it haven’t reported any major problems.
iQOO does give a small warning before you start the update. The phone might get a bit hot and use up more battery while it’s installing. Because of this, it is a good idea to keep your phone plugged into a charger until it finishes. Once the update is done, the phone will cool down, and it will automatically delete the update file so it doesn’t waste any of your storage space.
