Samsung Galaxy S23 series receives major improvements with the new camera update

In the month of February, Samsung unveiled its flagship Galaxy S23 series globally. This series was loved by many but some users were reporting issues with the smartphones of this series. Among these reported issues, many were related to camera problems.

Well, the users who were facing this issue, will finally get some relief as a new update has been rolled out by Samsung to all the smartphones under this series- Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The update comes with build number S91xNKSU1AWC8 and is currently available in Korea. It comes with a March 2023 security patch with a file size of 922.88MB. It is expected that users of other countries will also be soon getting this update on their devices.

This latest update brings major improvements and fixes issues related to the camera and gallery.

The first improvement is that a new function has been added to the gallery which allows users to delete photos immediately after they are taken with the camera while still being processed.

Apart from this, the autofocus concept has been modified which allows users to take photos even if the focus is not completely set. Though users can also turn off this feature if they wish to by changing the camera assistant settings. For shooting ultra-wide in low light indoors features like improved sharpness and flicker have been added. Along with this image stabilization has been improved while shooting with FHD60 after turning Auto FPS off in the rear video.

Overall sharpness has been optimized for high-pixel shooting while intermittent blurring has been reduced through OIS stabilization. The stability of the camera app is also improved for capturing moving subjects.

The appearance of a green line on the left side when shooting in rear photo mode, face recognition issue after ending a third-party video call, and malfunction when shooting after Night off in low light all such issues have been fixed with this latest update.
