The Motorola Razr 2022 may soon be available outside of Chinese markets, as fresh promotional materials that have leaked indicate.

At a large event in China last month, Motorola announced two flagship X series phones as well as the most recent Razr foldable. The Edge 30 Ultra and Edge 30 Fusion, two new X series phones, were recently introduced in India and other international markets. Similar expectations now exist for the Motorola Razr 2022. It appears Motorola is getting set to launch the Razr 3, or Razr 2022, worldwide before the year is through, based on some fresh leaks of photos. On this front, Motorola has not yet made any public announcements.

Some fresh promotional photographs for the Razr 2022 have surfaced as a result of the most recent leak from well-known source Evan Blass. These pictures show the English language all over the display, in contrast to the Chinese model, which suggests that the Razr could be returning to international markets. Given its features, it may compete with the recently reviewed Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, a foldable flip phone.

Is the Motorola Razr 2022 on the way?

The Razr 2022 still has its major advantage over the Samsung Flip 4—its bigger Cover Display—and might be a genuine challenger for the title of prettiest flip phone. The top portion of the phone still features an OLED display, but this time there are also two cameras. Almost all the functions available on the main screen are also available on the cover display.

Motorola has significantly altered the design on the inside. The Razr has an edge-to-edge display with minimal bezels and a single punchhole for the selfie camera. Currently, the phone has a 144Hz OLED display. Instead of the Snapdragon 700 series chip, it makes use of the more modern and powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

A 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide camera are also included in the Razr 2022. The phone uses the MYUX theme engine together with Motorola’s vanilla Android UI.

The Razr 2022’s potential arrival in India and if Motorola does so remains to be seen. In India, we have already seen the Edge 30 Ultra with a 200MP camera, and we anticipate the Razr to arrive before the holiday season. In order to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, which has a basic price of Rs. 90,000, Motorola could set a price that is aggressive.
