Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) Series Smartwatch Unveiled: Available in 3 Case Sizes

Garmin, the American, Swiss-domiciled technology company has now unveiled its latest Garmin Epix Pro(Gen 2) series smartwatch. The device is available in 3 case sizes and is available in Standard, Sapphire + Titanium models.

Garmin Epix Pro(Gen 2) Series Smartwatch Unveiled

The Garmin Epix Pro(Gen 2) series smartwatch is built to offer a much better user experience compared to its predecessor and arrives in three case sizes 42mm, 47mm, and 51mm. The device also features an AMOLED display panel and depending on its case sizes have screen sizes of 1.2″, 1.3″, and 1.4″ respectively.

The newly unveiled smartwatch also has a total storage of 32GB to offer its users, freeing them from any storage constraints and enabling them to download apps, save music and do many more with their device in a seamless manner.

Speaking about its features, all the variants come with an in-built LED flashlight, a Gen 5 heart rate monitor, and a multi-band GPS connectivity feature. The device also features a set of health and lifestyle apps from Garmin along with two new metrics – hill score and endurance score. The hill score can be used to monitor VO2 max levels and the user’s training history, which can be used to analyze and evaluate the user’s uphill running capability. With the endurance score, their overall endurance level can be analyzed.

Now coming to the battery life, the battery life of the device is depended on the case size. The 42mm variant of the smartwatch will offer a total battery life of upto 10 days whereas, the 51mm variant will be able to offer a battery life of about 31 days.

Regarding its price points, the Garmin Epix Pro(Gen 2) smartwatch is available in Standard and Sapphire + Titanium models with its Standard model costing $899.99 for the 42mm and 47mm variants. The 51mm variant is priced at $999.99. The Sapphire + Titanium model is priced at $100 more and its 42mm and 47mm variants have a price point of $999. The 51mm variant of the Sapphire + Titanium model is priced the highest among all the models and is priced at $1,099.
