Slow but fastest: Redmi Note 12 Pro Discovery Edition (China) Charger

The newly launched Redmi Note 12 series in China. The world has been seeking its world’s first 210W fast-charging of Redmi Note 12 Pro Discovery Edition which was only launched in China. The company claimed to charge the phone in just 9 minutes after plugging the cable.

However, in the real-world test by Chargers Lab the device failed to reach its claims and could only reach up to a maximum of 184.85W for three minutes, and then it gradually started declining. So, it’s expected that the average charging is above 120W. The device can charge completely in just 10 minutes and 10 seconds exceeding by 1 minute and 10 seconds by the claim.

The most important thing is that the phone was able to keep itself cool during the test. Compared with iPhone 14 Pro Max the Redmi Note 12 Pro Discovery Edition gets less heated than it. It is now expected that China has to still wait for some time to achieve the target.

Some more details on the device:

It has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a triple back camera setup of 102MP+8MP+2MP and a 16MP selfie camera. Equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. And powered by a massive 5000mAh battery.
