[Exclusive] Motorola Moto G Stylus (2023) specifications, desgin revealed via leaked marketing materials

Motorola Moto G Stylus (2023) with the “Geneva” codename is in the works. Reports have revealed that the device will be available in 4G and 5G versions. These variants have model numbers XT2317 and XT2315, respectively. The 4G variant was recently spotted at Geekbench, through which some of its key specifications were revealed. Now, The Tech Outlook has obtained some marketing materials to reveal some more details about the Moto G Stylus (2023).

Moto G Stylus (2023) specifications

The marketing materials revealed that the Moto G Stylus (2023) will feature a 6.5-inch display that offers an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. As can be seen in the images, the device flaunts a punch-hole display and has a fairly thick bottom bezel. The device will come preloaded with the Android 13 OS, which will be overlaid with Motorola’s My UX.

The Moto G Stylus (2023) will have 64GB of native storage and a slot for a microSD card for extra storage. The back panel of the device has a square-shaped camera module, which houses a 50-megapixel primary camera. The marketing materials claim that the G Stylus (2023) will be capable of capturing detailed portrait shots, close-up shots, and low-light images.

Even though the leaked marketing materials don’t say anything about the chipset that powers the Moto G Stylus (2023), the device will come with the Helio G88 chipset, according to a recent Geekbench listing. The benchmarking listing also revealed that the device has 4GB of RAM and Android 13 OS.

The G Stylus (2023) will pack a 5,000mAh battery, which will be able to last for up to two days on a single charge. It will also come equipped with other features like dual stereo speakers, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and a built-in stylus, which can be used for navigating, highlighting, editing, and so on. It will come preloaded with the Moto Note feature that will allow users to start writing without unlocking the device.

The image that showcases the bottom edge of the Moto G Stylus (2023) reveals that it has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C slot, a microphone, a speaker grille, and a slot for storing the stylus. Its left side has a SIM slot, whereas the right edge has a volume rocker and a power button, which is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. None of the images shows the top side of the device. However, it is likely to be equipped with a microphone and a speaker grille. The images also reveal that the G Stylus (2023) will come in blue and copper colors. At present, there is no official word on the existence of the device.

Last year, the 4G version of the Moto G Stylus (2022) was announced in February, and its 5G edition came out in April. Hence, it appears that it will not take too long for the G Stylus (2023) and its 5G version to go official. Like the previous generation models, the 2023 Moto G Stylus models are expected to remain exclusive to the US market.
