In 2013, Apple released the iPhone 5C. The iPhone used to be affordable and had a plastic back. There were five colors for the phone: blue, green, pink, white, and yellow. Another Apple gadget listed in the report that will be added to the list of outdated technology is the fourth-generation iPad Mini. According to the source, Apple internally labeled it obsolete in November 2021. But nobody knew about it before till now.

Apple no longer sells products that are more than seven years old. Apple products that are no longer produced are still eligible for hardware support even though they are out of date.

The US smartphone maker typically separates its discontinued products into “Vintage” and “Obsolete” categories. A product was considered vintage when Apple stopped selling it more than five but less than seven years ago.
