Tata has Sold More than 1.68 Lakh Units of its Tata Nexon Car in the Sub 4m SUV Sales of CY 2022

In the Sub 4m SUV sales of Calendar Year 2022, Tata Motors has managed to sell more than 1.68 lakh units of its Global NCAP’s 5 star rated Tata Nexon car.

Tata Sells More than 1.68 Lakh Units of the Tata Nexon

Tata Motors in the calendar year of 2022 has sold a total of 1,68,278 units of its Tata Nexon car in the sub 4 meter segment of SUVs.

In the first quarter of 2022 itself Tata managed to sell 40,390 units of the Nexon car with the sales increasing to 42,380 units in the second quarter of the year and later reaching 43,817 by the third quarter of the same year.

However the sales reduced to 41,691 units in the fourth quarter but still, the Tata Nexon sales were good compared to the other SUV cars in the sub 4 meter segment.

Here’s How Other Brands Performed in its Sub 4m SUV Sales

The sales of Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza follows the sales of Tata Nexon with a total of 1,30,563 units of the car sold in 2022.

The sales were at its peak in the month of September, and Maruti Suzuki was able to sell a total of 15,445 units of its car and the sales was reported the least in the month of June and Maruti Suzuki was only able to sell 4,405 units of the Brezza.

Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet from Hyundai Motor Company has acquired the third and fourth position in the sales of sub 4m SUVs with a total of 1,20,703 and 86,251 units of the cars sold respectively.

Summing up the sales of the two cars, Hyundai Motor Company has managed to sell 206,954 units of its cars in the sub 4m segment of SUVs, beating Tata in its sales of the Nexon car.

Mahindra XUV300 was the most under performed car in terms of sales and only 60,260 units of the car were sold in the calendar year of 2022.
