Mercedes-AMG’s new C63’s design and engine will make you think if it belongs to future

V8 engine and 679hp plug-in hybrid powertrain that is with 475hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 203hp electric motor on the rear axle in a sophisticated four-wheel drive system. This is not a feature of any futuristic car, this is none other than Mercedes-AMG’s new C63 A which had been launched in markets. The charm and beauty of this car use 76mm- wider front wheel arches hiding 19-inch or optional 20-inch wheels. An additional cooling system means a juts out giving the whole car a premium look.

It comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a turbocharger. A Turbocharger has an electric motor that runs on a 400V electrical system that lets the turbine spin faster. This technology has been brought to the attention of the AMG Formula 1 racer. With 475 hp and 454 Nm of torque, the engine on its own is the most powerful four-cylinder currently in series production.

It has an electric drive unit (EDU) on the rear axle, which combines a 203hp, 320 Nm electric motor, a 6.1kWh lithium-ion battery, a two-speed gearbox, and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential in one unit. On electric power, the C63 can travel up to 12 Km. That is because the high-voltage drive battery is relatively small for a plug-in hybrid.

At 6.1kWh, the high-voltage drive battery is relatively small for a plug-in hybrid.
